How we study our clients’ projects:

Initially, our design office draws up specifications corresponding to the requests and information provided by our client.
A pre-study is then carried out to study the technical feasibility of the planned project, and we make an initial estimate of the cost of mass production of the corresponding systems depending on the quantities envisaged.
If these proposals are suitable for our client, we then carry out a complete study, with manufacture of prototypes, in several copies if necessary.

Engineers study your project for free

Important: in all cases, our studies and development of prototypes are free. However, we do not provide electrical diagrams, component lists, or software at this stage, our goal being to carry out the mass production of the systems developed by us. The advantage for you in return is less risk taking at first, as well as great flexibility during development: when the project takes shape, many modifications are necessary during the development phase.

This is when we are particularly responsive and able to quickly provide you with a prototype, then to implement with you all the modifications necessary for the development of the finished product.

Realization of prototypes

ACEI has an advanced electronics design laboratory, as well as more than 30 years of experience in the development of electronic applications involving physical measurements (capacitive detection of water through watertight walls, non-contact switches to avoid oxidation), and allowing wireless communications (2.4Ghz band for example) between devices at a lower cost and with extremely low consumption.

We can also create a software part on a PC (graphical user interface), with interfaces for controlling or configuring your hardware under Linux and Windows if necessary. Wireless transmission, communication buses, sensors, motors, power supply, and actuators hold no secrets for us. Software development included for systems that incorporate micro-controllers.

For the software part of the automations we produce, we mainly use small, low-cost, low-power microcontrollers. All the code is developed in assembly language, which makes it possible to integrate many functionalities into very small micro-controllers: the size, the temperature, and the consumption are thus totally controlled.
